It has been a long time since I last went backpacking and camping. I bought some new gear, and will head out to Carson National Forest this afternoon.

Food: Homemade beef jerky (two small bags), homemade dehydrated vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, celery leaves, one small bag), spices (rock salt, lavender pepper, onion powder, tumeric, Old Bay, and Italian seasoning), Banana Nut Warrior Bar (x2), Doterra essential oils (Breathe, Deep Blue, Peppermint, On Guard, Past Tense), Genesis Grape Blast energy sticks (x3)
Tent: Two person Walmart Tent ($22 variety)
Sleeping Gear: Airport travel pillow, SOL Escape Bivvy, Thermarest Scout sleeping pad
Cooking: Coleman Max Microstove, 1 can of fuel, waterproof matches, regular matches in waterproof container, folding fork, knife and spoon set, enamel cup
Clothing: Frog Toggs rain gear, 1 change of clothes, sport towel
Tools: Small hatchet, Hollow Ground old German fixed blade knife (inherited from my grandfather), 6V flashlight, Gerber Multiplier, folding shovel.

Firearms: Taurus 66 .357 Magnum (7 rds) + 2 speed loaders
