Albuquerque Volcanoes

Yesterday, we went for a very brief (1/2 hour or so) hike around the Albuquerque Volcanoes. The park closed at 5:00 pm, and we showed up around 4:30 pm, so that gave us just enough time to hike up to the closest volcano, evaluate the path for running (another day), and hike back.

From the Albuquerque Volcanoes, you can look over the entire city.

I hope you enjoyed my photos!

Nice. I was wondering about the volcanoes. We were in Albuquerque last summer, and hiked at Petroglyph Nat. Mon. while it was blazing hot. Rinconada Canyon, I believe. You have better views there. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Thank you for the feedback. These volcanoes are on the west side and are pretty easy to get to. Petroglyph Nat. Mon. is pretty sweet too- went there years ago and will dig up the photos sometime soon.

      Thanks for commenting!
