Today was an exceptionally frustrating day at air rifle practice. I grabbed the same Daisy 853 (G.O.) pump rifle that I had last week. It has an issue with fliers, where a shot will occasionally fly high or low (visibly so, you can see the impact outside of the sights when shooting from a rest). Its regulation of how much gas is released per shot is likely the culprit.
Anyway, I shot a 73/200 1X and a 23/60 both standing, but did get to add one X to my bull’s eye book.
