I was able to attend air rifle practice this evening. I shot in the sitting position this evening, using the Daisy 777. I didn’t think I had done very well, but I haven’t lost much since my last air rifle practice.
I notice that it is harder to focus on all things at once, and I find myself telling myself to focus on the front sight (which is the correct thing to do). When you are young, your eyes can refocus on multiple things all at once, making it seem like you are focusing on everything at the same time. In reality, you are rapidly switching between them. As your eyes age, you start to see the lag time between adjusting focus between objects. I am near that point.
Thank you for reading my post.
